Life satisfaction of school lecturers of Mewat district Haryana in relation to personality mental health and adjustment

Abstract

This study explores the concept of life satisfaction in relation to personality, mental health and adjustment. Mewat district of Haryana has been taken for the present study. The teachers posted in Mewat district cannot be transferred in any part of the State. A descriptive research design was used. The results indicated that the school lecturers working in Mewat district are not very satisfied with their life. They reported moderate on Neuroticism, high on Extroversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness. The Mental Health of school lecturers of Mewat district was found moderately positive. The adjustment of these school lecturers was at average level. newline
