Abstract

ABSTRACT newlineThe researcher carried out the research on Development and Try-out of an Emotional Intelligence Enhancement Programme for M.Ed. teacher trainees . newlineThe researcher made an attempt to develop emotional intelligence of M.Ed. teacher trainees with the help of a well structured programme. Independent Variable: Emotional Intelligence Enhancement Programme newlineDependent Variable: The Emotional Intelligence newlineModerator Variable: The researcher in the present study selected the moderator variables like: gender, stream, types of family, and academic achievement. newlineThe design is selected when it was not possible to make the group equal and assign sample randomly to the group in real classroom setting. The population of the present study was all the M.Ed. teacher trainees enrolled in the first year of 2019-21 at post graduate education Gujarati Medium course- M.Ed. College affiliated to Sardar Patel University. The sample for the study was selected using simple random sampling technique. The procedure of selection of the sample is as follows.
