Abstract
Allport(1954) defined prejudice as antipathy based upon a faulty and inflexible
newlinegeneralization .it may be felt or expressed .it may be directed towards a group as a
newlinewhole or towards an individual because he is a member of that group .
newlinesome other definitionsJones(1972) prejudice is prior negative judgments of the members of a race or
newlinereligion or the of any other significant social role ,held in disregard of the facts that
