Abstract
Membrane technology is widely applied for water treatment and
newlinereceives significant attention because it is an outstanding process for the
newlineremoval of particles turbidity and microorganisms from water due to their
newlinereliability and ease of operation However fouling is regarded as the
newlinebottleneck in membrane filtration process One of the practical strategies to
newlinedecrease fouling is the use of advanced antibiofouling membrane material
newlineCurrent research and development efforts are directed towards drastic
newlineimprovements in antifouling property while maintaining the inherent high
newlinethroughput characteristics of the membranes
newlineWith this objective in mind the present work is to focus on the
newlinepreparation and characterization of hybrid Poly etherethersulfone nano and
newlineultrafiltration membranes by incorporation of Nanosilver and NanoZinc
newlineoxide to meet the requirement of various industrial separations Nanosilver
newlineand nanoZnO particles were prepared by chemical method Silver and ZnO
