Structural Capital A Study of Select Organizations

Abstract

In order to justify the predictors or drivers of structural capital due newlineprocedure was followed. On the basis of the literature review, twelve newlinefactors were examined and they were put through Exploratory Factor newlineAnalysis. The EFA gave us eight factors in total. newlineThe first loaded factor as identified during EFA was Organization Culture newlineand Climate (OCC), the Eigen value for which was 28.574, further, each of newlinethe twenty eight questions used to measure OCC reported positive newlinesignificant loading greater than 0.50. newlineThe second factor identified was Intellectual Property rights (IPR) had an newlineEigen value of 8.442, each of the fifteen variables used to measure IPR had newlinethe rotated component loading of greater than 0.57. newlineThe third factor assessed was named Internal Control System (ICS) and newlinereported Eigen value of 4.125, all the loadings were greater than 0.57. newlineThe fourth component identified was Research and Development (RnD), its newlineEigen value was reported as 3.003, and all the factor loadings were more newlinethan 0.50. newlineThe fifth factor rotated and grouped into one component, with Eigen value newline2.841 and was named Business Reengineering (BR), three items of BR newlinereported loadings above 0.50. newline
