Study of Adaptive Equalizers Using Fir Filtering Techniques for Radar Signal Processing Applications

Abstract

The thesis deals with the linear as well as non-linear adaptive FIR filtering newlinetechniques for better detection of target in radar systems and subsequently efficient newlinetransmission of radar data to a distant console. The radar system receives huge amount of newlineecho data which are invariably associated with the static or time-varying clutters which newlineare to be processed and only required target information is to be represented on the newlinemonitoring console to observe the activity and parameters of the target (s). To achieve newlineextraction of target information from such unwanted clutter environment, an adaptive newlinefiltering with high throughput based system is deliberately required as far as real-time newlineprocessing is concerned. newline
