Abstract
Though its 21st century, the participation of women in leadership has been low. Entrepreneurship
newlinein women are increasing day by day and even push factors like family and society has been
newlineimproving gradually and accepting women to join business and choose entrepreneurial world.
newlineBut when leadership force comes to light, women are put a questionable position. The word
newline entrepreneurial leadership has now generated a developing interest in many researchers and
newlinescholars to study but still it is in a beginning stage and studies are bit of judgmental. The
newlinemethods and parameters are very uncommon to find out in the list of investigation. This thesis
newlinehave wandered off into a new direction of study of the parameters of leadership behaviour on
newlinewomen entrepreneurs, mostly the urban ones. The business women of rural sector are
newlinecontinuously studied by the various researchers. Very less importance is given to the urban
newlinesectors of women entrepreneurs. The researcher has studied about the parameters of leadership
newlinebehaviour which are risk taking, moral virtues, trust, training and prudence with the demographic
newlinevariables of women entrepreneurs. The area of study was Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, combining
newlinecalled as the twin cities and has been declared urban sector. The statistical tools as chi square
newlinetest, ANOVA, standard deviation and t-test has been used to study the primary data of the
newlineresearch work and case studies has been studied for the secondary data. The sample or data has
newlinebeen collected in two methods, questionnaire and interview method. Interview method was used
newlineto study closely about the leadership behaviour of the business women and to implement while
newlinewriting case studies of the research. Questionnaire was solely used for the collection of the
newlineprimary data. Around 500 samples were collected and only 383 samples were taken into account
newlinedepending on the fill up of the main areas of the questionnaire. Responses were summarized and
newlineput into tested through SPSS and EXCEL.
