iii newlineABSTRACT newlineA decentralized network that consists of collection of wireless newlinemobile devices is called Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET). The devices can newlinebe a laptop, personal digital assistant, a mobile phone etc. and are newlinecommunicate with other mobile devices using networks. The wireless newlinenetwork generally classified into two categories, namely infrastructure based newlinenetwork and ad-hoc network which is infrastructure less. MANET is a type of newlinead-hoc network with the features of high bandwidth, power, and security. newlineMANET provides less bandwidth than the wired network due to the loss newlineexperienced by the medium because of noise, fading and interference signals. newlineThe communication between the devices takes place through various newlineheterogeneous wireless links. newline
