The Teaching of English Tenses to Arab Learners

Abstract

The dissertation entitled The Teaching of English Tenses to Arab Learners is an attempt to study the problems faced by Arab learners while using English tenses and to teach them English tenses in an innovative way. The study is carried out to help the Arab Learners studying at English Language Teaching Institute of Symbiosis (henceforth abbreviated as ELTIS) to use English tenses correctly while communicating in English. The study aims at developing more effective ways of teaching English tenses. newlineThe main objectives of the present study are to identify learners errors related to English tenses, to study possible reasons of the errors and to develop relevant course materials and use new techniques to teach English tenses. newline
