Abstract
newline Over the past ten years, mobile users have multiplied dramatically
newlineover the world. From first-generation (1G) to fifth-generation (5G) mobile
newlinecommunication, the number of users and available features have increased
newlinesignificantly. The range of spectrum increases as the generation of mobile
newlinecommunication increases, thus, making the 5G utilize a spectrum range of
newline600MHz - 6GHz for Long Term Evolution (LTE) and 24-86 GHz for
newlinemillimeter (mm) wave bands. A number of additional bands, including 3300-
newline3400 MHz and 10.0-10.5 GHz in Region 2, will be considered for
newlineInternational Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) under Agenda 1.2 by World
newlineRadio Conference 2023 (WRC-23). The implementation of IMT creates
newlinehindrances for novice users who wish to operate in this frequency band. As a
newlineconsequence, the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) has conveyed
newlineits objection to the International Telecommunication Union
newlineRadiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) Working Parties and CITEL PCC II
newlineregarding the allocation of 10.0-10.5 GHz for IMT.
