dc.description.abstractWith the development in wireless communication, 2D material-such as graphene-based antennas can effectively serve as a viable alternative to conventional conducting antennas. In the last few decades, several studies have been conducted to explore the potential of graphene antennas for upcoming futuristic technologies. Therefore, this thesis is dedicated to exploring the progress in the design of graphene-based antennas. The primary focus of this thesis is to investigate a number of key issues concerning graphene based antennas those includes: i Obtaining the pattern reconfigurability of graphene-based Yagi-Uda antenna with and#119879;and#119872;01and#120575; mode generation, ii To find the mode conversion technique for a pattern reconfigurable graphene based Yagi-Uda antenna, iii Obtaining the ultra-wide band response in a graphene based logarithmic antenna with propagation of transverse magnetic mode, iv Exploring the multi-input-multi-output MIMO configuration in graphene based Yagi-Uda antenna with the achievement of frequency response and study of various MIMO performance parameters by using multi-port feeding technique, In order to fulfill the first research issue, a graphene-based Yagi-Uda array antenna operating at THz frequency band has been designed and theoretically analysed.
