Significance of Previsualization in the Process of Designing Script based Web Animation

Abstract

Previsualization is a visual representation grounded on 3D animation. The study answers the newlineresearch questions on its significance, intervention in designing script-based web animation, newlineand visual characteristics through empirical studies. Script-based web animations are created newlineby designers and executed by Programmers. So, their communication and coordination are newlineindispensable. The hypothesis states that Previsualization is an important visualization newlinetechnique that is beneficial in designing web animation, and it can hold substantial visual newlineinformation. This exploratory study used mixed methodologies to understand programmers newlineperspectives on Previsualization in the context of script-based web animation and to verify the newlinestatements. newlineThe research used data from the literature, semi-structured interview, case study and Likert newlineScale based questionnaires. A literature review provided views and opinions of experts on newlinePrevisualization, and semi-structured interviews helped gather professional programmers newlineexperiences and perspectives. The results revealed imperative information related to newlinecommunication issues, the significance of visuals in knowledge transfer, and perceptions on newlinePrevisualization. The Likert scale questionnaire gathered programmers perceptions on the newlinefunctions of Previsualization and its perceived usability in the context of three.js animation. newlineThe later stage of the study used quantification to check the central tendency and the collective newlineattitude towards Previsualization. newlineThe study s findings suggest that Previsualization supports creativity, helps in communicating newlineideas and collaboration.
