Abstract

The present study on the organizational culture and commitment has been newlinepresented effectively with an appropriate statistical tool at the analysis. The KPCL is newlinenot such a big company in the port and logistic industry; however, it is one of the major newlineconcerns managing with more than fifteen departments and also its own security newlinesystem. newlineThis research studied the organizational culture and organizational commitment newlineat KPCL, Nellore. It is also highlighted the theory of culture and organizational culture newlinewill be first presented and then two major components of organizational culture -values newlineand norms- will be explained. To fully understand organizational culture, a discussion newlineabout the types of culture that are present in organizations will be introduced. Because newlineorganizations usually have multiple subcultures in addition to a dominant culture, it will newlinebe helpful to introduce the factors that contribute to the creation and development of newlinesubcultures, as well as the different types of subcultures that might exist within an newlineorganization. The degree to which culture might influence organizational outcomes newlinedepends to some extent on the strength of that culture. Therefore, the concept of strong newlinecultures will be defined and introduced apart from the employeeand#8223;s commitment towards newlinetheir job and their organization. For all analysis the effective statistical tools are used newlinefor the analysis of the data and interpretation of the findings of the research. newline
