GIS based geomorphology and sedimentological investigation of the Ganga River between Allahabad and Buxar

Abstract

The present research work deals with geomorphological study, using remote newlinesensing and highlites sedimentological characteristics of a part of the Ganga River newlinebetween Allahabad and Buxar. newlineThe River Ganga flows along the SE slope of the Gangetic Plain which is densely newlinepopulated and highly cultivated.
