Abstract

The present research work entitled Study of G x E interaction and molecular characterization of advanced breeding lines of Katarni rice (Oryza sativa L.) was conducted in order to develop stable, high yielding, semi-dwarf and early maturing advanced breeding lines derived from short grain aromatic landrace, Katarni, with different maturity dates and were evaluated at four different sowing dates over two years i.e. 2022 (DOS 1- 14-6-22; DOS 2- 21-7-22) and 2023 (DOS 3- 16-6-23; DOS 4- 15-7-23). The trials were conducted in Randomized Block Design and based on the morphological and molecular data genotypes were evaluated. To study genetic parameters environment E1 and E3 were pooled as timely sown and environment E2 and E4 were pooled as late sown condition.
