An Investigation into Usability and Security of ECommerce Websites in Jharkhand

Abstract

The development of the World Wide Web and advances in technology have completely transformed the Internet landscape, particularly in the business sector. Although the use of the Internet for business started in the late 1990s, websites for e-commerce have gradually become more popular. People these days are busy, thus they favor online e-commerce sites over brick- and-mortar markets and stores. newlineIn this research work, the usability and security of the e-commerce websites of Jharkhand are estimated using a variety of factors identified in this thesis and ranked upon the calculated score with respect to usability and security of websites using different MCDM methods like AHP, VIKOR, and TOPSIS. Also, a comparison study of the many usability and security evaluation models has been done to identify the most effective and efficient model for assessing. newlineand evaluating the usability and security of e-commerce websites. This research work is investigating the usability of e-commerce websites using web mining; also using machine learning algorithms for data segmentation to propose a new hybrid model for e-commerce analytics. Numerous studies on usability and usable security have been undertaken, indicating the need for more analysis in this area. newline newline
