Abstract

We live in a time when the world is visually appealing, with a vast variety of colors, newlinepatterns, shapes, textures, and artifacts. newlineIn this digital era, images are used as a powerful tool to communicate. Human beings newlinehave such a visual perception ability to analyze, interpret all sort of visual information. newlineThe main problem here is getting the machine to learn all of these visual perception newlineskills. In this technological world where data visualization and interpretation is an newlineimportant aspect, as a result, it is important to have a thorough understanding of the field newlineof digital image processing and its interpretation, representation, enhancement and newlinerecognition. newlineThroughout the last five decades, digital image processing has been a center of research newlineand investigation. Image processing entails the process of analyzing an image and newlineperforming some operations to modify a digital image. The main goal of image newlineprocessing techniques is to improve images visual appearance for human understanding newlineand to prepare it for machine analysis in a variety of science and engineering newlineapplications. In this era, human-computer interaction has been increased enormously. newlineTons of data have been utilized to analyze and interpret the outcome. Along with image newlineenhancement techniques, to make the system efficient and fast, the role of optimization newlinealgorithms comes into existence. newlineThe main goal of optimization algorithms is to select the best usable solution from a set newlineof alternative solutions. The algorithms differ in their approach to finding and exploiting newlinethe best potential solution in the enormous search space. Still, findings are going on for newlinemore robust and efficient algorithms. newline
