Abstract

newline This study mainly aimed at assessing the EFL teachers and students perceptions and practice of classroom interaction at secondary schools to develop learners speaking skills. Investigating has also been made to find out some major factors that hinder the implementation of classroom interaction techniques in EFL speaking classes. In order to achieve these objectives, four instruments, namely questionnaire, interview, classroom observations and document analysis were used.
