Management education in India: a case study of selected B-schools

Abstract

In the secondary study, historical background of management education is studied. The existing system of management education was studied in which we came to know about some drawbacks of present system. Then factors affecting Business school was studied with the help of various B School surveys already done. From the study of various surveys we came to know that there are many discrepancies in the rankings done by different agencies, due to difference in the methodology followed by them. In this study performance of Business Schools was compared. Also the opinion of faculty, students and the HR executives who recruit the students from the B- schools is studied and assessed.
