| dc.description.abstract | The growing popularity of renewable energy sources is leading to a decrease newlinein the use of fossil fuels. This shift has resulted in a significant reduction in energy newlineconsumption. We must embrace renewable energy sources to achieve sustainability newlineand economic viability. Renewable energy sources offer several advantages, such as newlineproducing zero greenhouse gas emissions and leaving a low carbon footprint, newlinemaking them ideal for preserving the environment. Various renewable energy newlinesources, including solar photovoltaic, fuel cells, wind, biomass, and geothermal, are newlineused to generate electricity. High-gain DC-to-DC converters are vital in achieving newlinesustainable environments by unlocking significant improvements in energy newlineconversion efficiency. Electrification of various sectors, including transportation, newlineheating, and industries, is essential for a greener future and renewable energy newlinesystems. Using sustainable energy sources to power electric vehicles reduces their newlinedependence on fossil fuels and minimizes their environmental impact. newlineSelecting the most suitable DC-DC converter for renewable energy and newlineelectric vehicle (EV) applications can be a daunting task, as it requires meeting newlinevarious specific requirements. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to newlinecomprehend the necessity of a high-gain DC converter. Upon review, it has been newlinediscovered that there is an inadequate amount of research in the field of high-gain newlineconverters. This thesis aims to design and implement a non-isolated high-gain newlineinterleaved DC-DC converter to address these critical issues newline | |
