newlineWomen have played many roles in the private working and government working sectors. In the Ghaziabad District, previously perceived as a male-dominated environment workplace. There are now confident, courageous women who handle different positions efficiently and serve as examples for all. The research aims to study of life stress and life satisfaction and work life balance among women employees in private working and government working sectors in Ghaziabad district. The research report divided into five chapter. The first chapter gives introduction of the thesis. It discusses history and evolution of type of employment (Part time and Full time), type of job (Government/ Private), education level, monthly income.
newlineFurthermore, the chapter gives information about life stress and job satisfaction and steps taken to manage job satisfaction and work life balance of women employees. It also highlights the problems faced by women employees while working in government/private, impact of demonetization on women employees. Finally, the chapter discusses career paths for women in the field in India. The literature review highlights that many researchers have studied job satisfaction, job stress and work life balance of female employees in the job industry. The demographic profile of women and the difficulties faced by working women are also discussed in some articles. Several international and national authors have conducted comparative analysis of studies on the stress of life events, experiencing more stressful events, frustration, adjustment problems, behavioural dysfunction and depression in women. Nevertheless, this relationship is not unaffected by external variables. Work place stress is becoming a major issue and a matter of concern for the women employees at the organisations. In this study role of life stress and life satisfaction has been used as dependent variable.
