Abstract
Instant doctoral dissertation delves into the imperative for speedy justice in criminal jurisprudence, it underscores that swift dispute resolution is not merely a matter of convenience but a foundational element for an effective, efficient and equitable judicial system. The research critically examines the primary impediments to dispensation of timely criminal justice in India, including outdated legal procedure, infrastructural limitations, systematic inefficiencies etc plaguing the complex multifaceted Indian judicial landscape.
