Abstract

The present work is devoted to certain studies on geometric function newlinetheory in the open unit disc U fz jzj 1g This work is presented in seven newlinechapters newlineChapter 1 form a general preamble of the subject matter of the newlinethesis Also it consists of vital notions like Univalent function Starlike function newlineConvex function and allied concepts Well known and significant properties of newlineseveral subclasses of functions pertinent to the present work are stated in the newlineform of theorems without proof newlineIn Chapter 2 the argument estimate properties for the class of newlineclosetostar like functions are studied and some sufficient conditions have been newlineestablished newlineIn Chapter 3 the coefficient estimates for certain subclasses of biunivalent newlinefunctions of MaMinda type are investigated Also certain subclasses newlineof biunivalent functions and its interesting properties such as coefficient newlineestimates are discussed Few interesting applications of the results presented newlinehere are also discussed newline newline
