dc.description.abstractnewline Building Integrated Photovoltaic Thermal (BIPVT) systems may be considered newlineas a powerful and most versatile technology that is being used in modern world to newlineachieve the increased demand of energy. Nowadays its application is not limited to only newlineurban sector but due to its economical and pollution free nature it is getting famous newlineamong the rural people also. Since in a long run it is very cheaper as compared to grid newlineconnected systems which produce energy in conventional method nowadays its newlinepopularity is not limited up to industrial application only, rather in residential building newlinealso its used for solar heater in winter season and other applications too. This work newlinesummarizes the current state-of-the-art of BIPVs, including BIPV foil, tile, module and newlinesolar cell glazing products. newlineDuring the last decades, the photovoltaic (PV) modules and their associated newlinearchitectural materials are increasingly being incorporated into the construction of the newlinebuilding envelope such as façade, roof and skylights in the urban centers.
