| dc.description.abstract | A biological sequence is a single, continuous molecule of nucleic acid. Biological sequence study examines, aligns, correlates, and evaluates biological sequences, making it relevant in bioinformatics and modern genetics. A significant number of whole-genome sequences are being created due to the emergence of genome sequencing initiatives, and it has therefore become necessary to implement advanced algorithms that can retrieve both the overt and implicit nature of these biological sequences. There are various challenges related to biological sequences such as representation, storage, and analysis.
