newlineIn the introductory chapter the researcher has vividly presented the
newlinedevelopments on Indian writing in English and how far it gained
newlineinternational acclaim, further the chapter deeply analyses the different
newlinechanges in Indian writing in English and traces the contribution of eminent
newlineIndian writers like Tagore for the development of it.
newline Chapter II entitled Transformation is an indepth study of
newlinetransformation. It describes how man gets transformed by undergoing
newlinevarious complicated stages of life like pain and sufferings and additionally
newlineportrays how the biographers on Gandhi have praised him for his Ahimsa
newlineand non-violence.
newline Chapter III entitled Truth reveals that truth is the most important
newlinevirtue which can be perceived through the mind or the senses, further this
newlinechapter throws light on Gandhi s adherence to truth and commends Gandhi,
newlineto whom truth is equivalent to God.
newline Chapter IV entitled Non-Violence clearly defines Ahimsa which is
newlinean infinite love, further it establishes how Ahimsa can even win his enemy
newlineand in short, this chapter is a panoramic presentation on the principles of
newlineSatya, Ahimsa, truth and non-violence.

newlinewhich is the most righteous path to attain contentment and peace of mind and
newlinethe importance of love which is the elixir of life which has no ageing.

newlinenegative criticism of Gandhi.

newlinehow Gandhian religion and his preaching remain undimmed and everfresh
newlineand further highlights the appreciative approach of the biographers to Gandhi
newlinethe name and the concept which can never go out of currency and history.
