The main goal of agricultural geography is to focus on various types of agricultural activities at the local, regional, domestic and foreign levels and to present detailed study. In modern agricultural geography the focus of agricultural geographers is to know and explain the spatial variation of various types of agricultural activities. Land use is the most reliable variable to clarify the spatial variation of agricultural activities. On this basis, a combination of crops, crop intensity, crop concentration, crop diversification etc. is divided into regions and after surveying the land use, like landuse pattern, land carrying capacity, agricultural productivity are identified and studied. In order to explain land use, it becomes important to take into account the natural variables such as land, temperature, soil, humidity and economic variable like irrigation, manure, technical-equipment etc. and other variable such as the extent of land rent, range of holding and number of workers. For a detailed study of agricultural geography, such an approach should be selected which is based on natural, social, cultural, economic and infrastructural variables. The importance of Agricultural Geography is that it gives assistance and procedures for planners and it is valuable for agricultural scientists who want to develop the composition farming sector and to increase the crop production capacity and experts who are trying to improve the systematic irrigation management system. newline
