Abstract
Images contain large quantity of information that needs a large
newlineamount of storage area large bandwidth and also long transmission times
newlineTherefore it is important to compress the image by storing only the vital
newlinedata that is required for reconstructing the image In order to compress the
newlineimage redundancies should be demoralized
newlineThus the main aim of image compression is to reduce the
newlineredundancy of the image and to transmit data in a proficient form
newlineThis application would address the important aspects of minimizing the
