Abstract

With the revolution in technology, education over the years has changed newlinetremendously from paper, pen to computer. The traditional teaching methods are newlinereplaced by new advanced teaching methods, even laptops and computers are now newlinepassed with the entry of i-pads. Blackboards are replaced by digital boards. newlineStudents are now technologically advanced which provide them answer for newlineeverything at instant speed. Interactive teaching and classroom imparts lot of newlinepractical knowledge1 newline. newlineEvery day is a challenge at school with everything around getting close and newlineyouth oriented, there is bound to be something new in the education too. newlineTechnology has always been the change driven for education however the recent newlinedevelopments in audio visual teaching aids have changed the mode of education. newlineThe year long satellite instructional television experiment2 newlinehas a strong newlinecomponent of television for educational purposes, since then there has been no newlinelooking back. newlineIn context to nursing, the nursing student became independent practicing newlinenurses in healthcare setting. The goal of preparing students to practice in a newlineconstantly changing health care environment and requires nurse educators to newlineprovide them with not only a strong knowledge but also the ability to apply it. newlineEducation must identify and implement teaching methods that help students to newlineattain and retain knowledge as well as critical thinking skill to apply in practice. newline
