Abstract

Education plays a very important role in the overall development of newlineindividuals. Education enables them greater awareness in terms of social, political and newlinecultural environment.In the words of John Dewey (1916) education is, the newlinedevelopment of all those capacities in the individual which will enable him to control newlinehis environment and fulfill his possibilities . And for the development of the tribal newlinecommunities, education will work as the main tool for sure. The enlightening newlineeducation system may result in the better tribal society. newlineWomen consists a major part of any society in respect to the development of newlinethe family and the children. But in most of the cases, women health appeared to be a newlinemost neglected part in all the families. What is the picture of the women health in the newlinetribal families? How much knowledgeable the tribals are in respect to the women newlinehealth? What about the attitude of the tribal people towards women health? The newlinedevelopment of a society may be marked by the status of the women in the society. newlineSimilarly, the knowledge of women health is an important issue. Several factors are newlinedependent upon the women health on the one hand, and on the other, women health is newlinealso dependent on several other factors such as Educational sttaus, age group, gender, newlinemarital status and so on. newline
