Abstract
CeO2 has shown immense capability for spintronics applications. Its unique property of existing in dual oxidation states enables it to manoeuvre the oxygen present at its sites resulting into alteration of various spintronics properties. In addition, the accomplishment of magnetic moment up to 6and#120583;and#119861;/atom above room temperature have bestowed high temperature functioning prospectus to nanostructured CeO2. In the present research work, Ce1-xMxO2, (M = Fe, Ni, Mn, Cu; 0.00 lt x lt 0.20) nanoparticles and thin films have been prepared using co-precipitation and PLD techniques respectively. The synthesized samples were investigated through various characterization techniques as explained below:
