A Flexible Systemic Analysis in the Context of TQM and SCM a study

Abstract

Management system is gaining importance and popularity. The management system newlinefocuses on the organisation as a whole, its internal and external components, and the newlinepeople in the organisation, the work processes, and the overall organisational newlineenvironment. The oil and gas industry is involved in a global supply-chain that includes newlinedomestic and international transportation, ordering and inventory visibility and control, newlinematerials handling, import/export facilitation and information technology. This research newlinestudy is focussed on the implementation of efficient Management System practices in newlineIndian Oil and Gas Industry (IOGI) since the Indian oil and gas sector is one of the six newlinecore industries in India and has significant forward associations with the entire economy. newlineThe first objective of the research is dealing with the management system practices and newlineits variables in terms of TQM practices, FS practices and SCM practices in the IOGI. newlineSecondly, it was desired to understand as to which variables affect the importance of newlinemanagement system practices. However, it is believed that the integration of management newlinesystem issues are not yet addressed in the literature related to management system. The newlineneed for this study comes from the fact that the management system is suitable for critical newlineand important issues of customer and supplier relations in IOGI. newlineIn this research, a detailed literature review is carried out to classify the TQM, FS, SCM newlineprogram, principles and practices. Review of the literature was carried out newlinechronologically as well as thematically in order to establish the need for research. Gaps newlinehave been identified in the literature review. To resolve some of the research gaps the newlineconceptual framework has been identified.
