Early Detection of Breast Cancer by Analyzing the Edges of Mammogram Images Using Deep Learning Techniques

Abstract

The mammograms are used to detect any abnormalities in the woman patients. Earlier detection and its post processing in the affected patients are very important to extend the life time of the patients. The cancer regions in the mammogram image have been classified into benign and malignant and they have been differentiated by its morphological parameters. Most of the researchers in this field used semi automated methodologies to screen the mammogram patches in the mammogram images. These methods are having complex algorithm and consumed more abnormal patch detection time period. The limitations in these traditional studies have been overcome using the proposed mammogram screening methodologies through the implementation of the deep learning algorithms. newlineIn this research work, mammogram images are classified and severity diagnosed using machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
