Effect of Sleep Deprivation on Behavior Memory Biochemical Genetic And Histopathologicl Changes in Rats

Abstract

newline ABSTRACT newlineSleep is a behavioural state that is a natural part of every individual s life. Sleep is a required activity. Sleep deprivation may be associated with difficulty in concentration. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of the experiment was to study the effect of sleep deprivation on behaviour, memory, biochemical changes, genetic and histopathological changes in rats. RESULTS: There was a significant increase (Plt0.05) of free radicals LPO and H2O2 in sleep deprived groups when compared to that of control groups. CONCLUSION: Sleep deprivation. This has also been supported by the molecular investigation. newline
